Incompatible without lift

JLU Rubicon must be lifted first, or the Sector Shaft Nut and Plate will contact the Diff Cover and Track Bar during down flex.

It should clearly state this on the site. Also, LOOSELY install all bolts until the plate is attached to the bracket. If you don't keep the Track Bar Bolt in place, the hole may become closed when torquing the Bracket Bolts which hold the Steering Pump in place. Those bolts should be the last torqued to specs.

Best upgrade!

I purchased my Jeep in 2018 so I was lucky to have one that had terrible steering. While I upgraded my steering box from aluminum to steel, it didn't help as much as Jeep would have you to believe. Their stock tierod, and drag links leave little to be desired. Going from stock to SteerSmarts was one of the most dramatic improvements with my build. I highly recommend them to everyone who wants to have a Jeep that drives like a sports car (well, not really but it's a LOT better than stock!)

Great product!!

On my previous Gladiator I used a competitors product. Even though it accomplished the same goal, the quality and design was not as good. With the Steer Smart the sealed bearing is so much better and the all steel construction is superior. The Steer Smart was easier to install also with clear, easy to follow instructions. The Steer Smart will also be easier to maintain down the road. It made a huge difference on steering tightness and handling. I no longer have to fight the wheel while driving. Over all I would recommend the Steer Smart to everyone!

Excelent result

It is almost unexplainable the difference in the steering and vehicle handling after installation. You truly have to experience it to understand the impact of this one system. The constant correction in steering disappears, and the road bounce is gone. You need to have tools to do this install but the couple of hours is well worth the effort, and the results will surprise you.

The YETI XD™ JL/JT Sector Shaft Brace With Frame Side Track Bar Reinforcement Bracket was engineered to bolt onto the stock track bar mount on the frame. The purpose of this piece is two-fold. First, the sector shaft support is meant to help minimize the aluminum and steel steering gears from flexing/deflecting/moving when cycling your steering system side to side.
The second part of the product is to reinforce the frame side track bar mounting location to help minimize any deflection of this bracket and ensuring that the mount doesn't break under extreme stress.
If you've had the TSB (technical service bulletin) work performed on your pre-2021 Wrangler or Gladiator, you will want to use the 4x short gear bolts. The fastener bag provides bolts for both aluminum and steel gear variations. The Aluminum box requires 2x short gear and 2x long gear bolts where the Steel box requires 4x short gear bolts.
*Note - Mojave JT and Diesel JT Gladiators require slight modification that is outlined in the installation instructions found here
