Setup with psc hydro assist. This is a stout tie rod.
JLU Rubicon must be lifted first, or the Sector Shaft Nut and Plate will contact the Diff Cover and Track Bar during down flex.
It should clearly state this on the site. Also, LOOSELY install all bolts until the plate is attached to the bracket. If you don't keep the Track Bar Bolt in place, the hole may become closed when torquing the Bracket Bolts which hold the Steering Pump in place. Those bolts should be the last torqued to specs.
I have a 2021 rubicon 2 door, put 35s on and the steering was just horrible, did research and found steer smarts, I installed the sector shaft brace, the track bar, drag link and the sway bar links, my steering is like night and day, no wondering, no bump steer, just flat out awesome steering, next is the tie rod, that will probably make it even better, thanks steer smarts for making some bad ass stuff!!!
Deff a nice made part. It was easy to put onto the drag link and cheaper than buying a new drag link just because of rams cheap fix.
I purchased my Jeep in 2018 so I was lucky to have one that had terrible steering. While I upgraded my steering box from aluminum to steel, it didn't help as much as Jeep would have you to believe. Their stock tierod, and drag links leave little to be desired. Going from stock to SteerSmarts was one of the most dramatic improvements with my build. I highly recommend them to everyone who wants to have a Jeep that drives like a sports car (well, not really but it's a LOT better than stock!)
This is one of the best pieces that I’ve purchased for my suspension highly recommend it. Amazing customer service
Exactly what I needed and was shipped very fast. Thanks to Andy he is always a great person to deal with. I used a ball joint press kit to install and it was a breeze.
I purchased a front and rear track bar and wow these things are massive they will go with my stear smart tiered and draglink I also have a track bar relocation bracket but my rear track bar didn't come with fasteners I need the fasteners and could steal smart make a sector shaft brace to fit a wrangler JK
I was hesitant to buy because the price. I decided to give it a shot and I’m glad I did. It aligned my new stabilizer perfectly and it is super beefy. I have no concerns about this bracket lasting a very long time.
....I have not unpackaged my steer smart products as I am waiting on on the the rest of my build. But, many thanks for helping me decide on what Steer Smart products for my particular build.
2013 JKU Rubicon

On my previous Gladiator I used a competitors product. Even though it accomplished the same goal, the quality and design was not as good. With the Steer Smart the sealed bearing is so much better and the all steel construction is superior. The Steer Smart was easier to install also with clear, easy to follow instructions. The Steer Smart will also be easier to maintain down the road. It made a huge difference on steering tightness and handling. I no longer have to fight the wheel while driving. Over all I would recommend the Steer Smart to everyone!
It is almost unexplainable the difference in the steering and vehicle handling after installation. You truly have to experience it to understand the impact of this one system. The constant correction in steering disappears, and the road bounce is gone. You need to have tools to do this install but the couple of hours is well worth the effort, and the results will surprise you.
Solid build! Amazing quality! These parts make me feel like I'm bettering my rig and doing what's best for her! Thx SS!
Wow just installed the steer smart sector shaft bracket what a different being having death wobble for months drove for the Extreme 4x4 shop not a wobble will recommend this to anyone having DW.. thanks steer smart 🤓🤓
Just installed on my wife’s 2019 JLUR because it felt loose and a little unstable, this brace makes me feel better because of all the problems I’ve heard about the stock bracket cracking at the welds. This brace will never crack, very heavy duty and well built. It was a little tough to install but if you loosen the bolts on the steering box like recommend then it will all line up.
