2007-2018 JK YETI XD™ Top Mount 2½-ton Drag Link for High-Steer Knuckles

STEER SMARTS™ is proud to present our most EXTREME steering linkage “The YETI XD™ Series” linkage for your Jeep JK Wrangler. We applied our 85 years of steering “lessons learned” to develop the strongest most durable linkage ever built for the Wrangler.

The YETI XD Top Mount Draglink for a high steer or drilled-out stock knuckle was designed to be a complete bolt-on for JK's that have already been modified for a flipped draglink. The YETI XD Top Mount installs in just minutes and bolts to a High Steer knuckle hole and the factory pitman arm hole.

**NOTE** A minimum lift height of 3-3.5" (and correct bump stop) is required for a top-mount drag link. Minimum height requirements will vary by lift manufacturer - please contact us if you are unsure. Part #79017001 (Track Bar Relocation Bracket) is necessary when flipping your drag link to maintain proper parallel geometry track bar and drag link.

***THERE IS NO TAPER INSERT PROVIDED WITH THE HIGH-STEER DRAG LINK - while this kit works with drilled knuckles that have JK taper insters, it was designed for use with High Steer Knuckles from companies like Reid, Rancho, Teraflex, Skyjaker, etc -- we do recommend replacing the tapered insert with a new one before installing this part to ensure proper fitment but we do not offer one and one is not included with the product***

Draglink fits all left-hand drive 2007-2018 JK Wrangler models including Rubicon and Unlimited.

Note: A minimum of 17” wheels is recommended. 16" wheels with a maximum of 4.5 backspacing might fit but not guaranteed.

Stock JK tapered stud that bolts to either a drilled and sleeved factory knuckle or a High Steer Knuckle

High-quality seals ensure long ball joint life. Our superior seals have been rigorously tested to minimize leakage between grease service intervals which greatly improves our ball joint reliability over our competition.

DRAGLINK ENDS:

Powder coat over E-coat for a long lasting appearance under harsh conditions.
External threads are e-coated for durability and long-term serviceability.
Forged from medium carbon high hardenability steel and heat-treated for greater buckling, impact, and fatigue strength.
Forged from medium carbon high hardenability steel and heat-treated for even greater buckling, impact, and fatigue strength.
Large 1 ¼ inch rolled threads at tie rod adjuster and draglink ends provide significantly increased strength over the original equipment threads.
Unique “Reverse Pin” technology prevents our linkage from flopping or rocking. This technology is built into the socket unlike the weak external supports on some competitor linkages.

ADJUSTER TUBE:

Draglink adjuster is manufactured from large diameter ¼ inch thick wall high strength 4130 Chromoly steel tubing for maximum buckling strength.
Adjuster clamps assure proper clamp force using conventional tools without the possible risk of loosening like large jam nuts.
Designed with right-hand and left-hand threads for quick and easy adjustment when installed on the vehicle.
Internal threads and tubes are also e-coated for long-term serviceability.

Game changer

The ATTENUATOR is a game changer. Completely removed road vibration to the pitman and I don’t feel anything in my steering wheel not to mention not having jam nuts from my previous set up makes adjustments a breeze.

Much needed.

OEM equipment isn’t designed to run oversize tires and I am glad Steersmart came out with a fix. Steering is very responsive now with no lag.

Done right !

4000 miles into owning Apex’s 2” aluminum tie rod the ball joints wore out and it was bouncing and slapping around causing sloppy steering. I seen Steersmarts 1”3/4 aluminum tie rod and had to try it. Absolutely zero slap and no play, I am so happy that I don’t have to deal with jam nuts anymore. Wish I would have done this the first time.

Beefy

Had issues with my Metal Cloak track bar. 2 years into it the bushings wore out and I started having death wobble. Changed over to the Yeti XD Pro track bar and zero issues. No more death wobble.
